This is a 4" x 6" x 5/8" thick solid wood sample. The face will be finished RAW and the back will be finished with the CHESTNUT stain. Wood samples are great for helping to make a decision on the wood type you will be using for your project. Unfortunately, they never sent the chestnut wood sample that we were interested in.  They sent an espresso very dark stain color that was not ordered.  For these reasons, we have decided to proceed with ordering with another company.
